Description
The Reserved Beagle - by KLM Kathel. Reserved for me? Well not exactly, but it kind of worked out that way. Soon after our KC died, we like so many began searching for another household pet. And in our home it has to be a beagle. Now, Hoss was not our first attempt at acquiring another beagle. I actually had place a deposit on a beagle puppy... Toby, by name. But Toby died suddenly of a twisted intestine. And so, I began my internet search again... and actually found a few beagle breeders but all the beagles that we saw were very expensive. In today's economy where money is an issue I began search for adoptable beagles.
Hoss along with his brother Tater were rescued in Tennessee. Tater stayed with his foster and Hoss was transported up to New Jersey when we adopted him from SOS Beagles. The description read, Hoss, a reserev beagle. To SOS that meant shy, but to us it meant RESERVED FOR ME. And I say this because when we got Hoss home it became clear that he was fearful of people. Yet our Hoss was never fearful of us... and since become my lap dog.
Hoss, born sometime in the year 2012 but adopted in June of this year when he picked us out of the pack and chose this to be his forever home. He is a nice looking tri-colored beagle and a welcomed addition to our home.
This photograph was taken the same day we brought Hoss home.
