Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

'Sweet Shadow' by KLM Kathel. So named because this particular photo was taken on Halloween 1977. Shadow was a year old here and was photographed with our 8 year old son. Back then film was brought to our local drug store. They in turn shipped the film to Kodak. Processing and pickup was a 4-7 day process..

Shadow was our very first family pet. Indeed he was our very first beagle. I know that I took the picture but I can't remember what kind of a camera I used. Whatever it was, the developed picture I have in my possession is of poor quality; but in the Spring of 2000 I was able to scan the image using an HP scanner and made it into a graphic image. With that in mind, and having acquired some graphic skills I am now finally able to work on it and add it to my Beagle Art portfolio.

Several techniques were used to produce the Beagle Art you see before you, including cropping, resizing, as well as photo enhancing techniques. Several additional enhancements were used...

All of the Beagle Art work shown here was created by KLM Kathel a former resident of Brooklyn New York where I received a few art awards during my High School years. (Ah yes, that head shot you see---that was taken a very long time ago). I am not a professional artist, but Beagle Art and painting pictures of our Beagles has become a passion of mine.
