Artist's Description
'Playful Combat' is a mixed media painting of two of our family Beagles engaging in 'Playful Combat'. Two photographs were used to create this 'Beagle Art' painting - The first was a photo of Rusty and Travis taken October 2, 1999, and the second was a photograph I took of the blue sky and clouds above our house, May 31, 2002. After merging the two photos I digitally enhanced it until I was able envision our two Beagles, both of which have passed on now... Well---I was trying to imagine them both together again.

All of the Beagle Art work shown here was created by KLM Kathel a former resident of Brooklyn New York where I received a few art awards during my High School years. (Ah yes, that head shot you see---that was taken a very long time ago). I am not a professional artist, but Beagle Art and painting pictures of our Beagles has become a passion of mine. My in-home studio is nothing more than a foldaway table placed in the corner of our living room and dinning area. I starting painting in earnest a few years ago when surgery compelled me to start painting again. But this time I beamed all of my attention and focus on Beagle Art.
