Nice 'N Comfy - by KLM Kathel. A photo of Beetle, a cute, playful beagle adopted in the year 2006. Nice 'N Comfy was created as a 24" x 18" photographic painting. Very little was done to enhance this beagle art. The photograph itself was taken using a Canon PowerShot SX110 IS, a digital camera that has served me well.

Beetle passed away in March of 2014 and his owners had no way of knowing his exact age. Beetle suffered from a neurological and brain stem disorder known as wobbler's disease, or wobbler's syndrome.

Wobbler's is a very difficult disorder to deal with because the symptoms are somewhat masked and hidden in the beginning stages. Progression is fast moving, so that by the time a proper diagnose is made, not much could be done for him.

All of the Beagle Art work shown here was created by KLM Kathel a former resident of Brooklyn New York where I received a few art awards during my High School years. (Ah yes, that head shot you see---that was taken a very long time ago). I am not a professional artist, but Beagle Art and painting pictures of our Beagles has become a passion of mine. My in-home studio is nothing more than a foldaway table placed in the corner of our living room and dinning area. I starting painting in earnest a few years ago when surgery compelled me to start painting again. But this time I beamed all of my attention and focus on Beagle Art.
