'Apache Green' by KLM Kathel. A title inspired by KC's right sided profile which I have always admired because it was reminiscent of a Native American Indian design.

The original photo was taken on March 20, 2001 with a FinePix4700 ZOOM. It was not a very good photo but I like his posse. So, in 2016 the photograph was enhanced using several graphic art programs and several mixed media formats.

This beagle artwork is just one of many Apache profiles I've been working on and is part of a study in airbrush techniques. My goal was to add a sense of color and depth to my backgrounds, while at the same time trying to depict KC's healing aura. And green has always suited him

KC was a unique beagle... He was in fact my inspiration. But alas, after many years our beautiful KC died of old age and canine dementia. He simply stopped eating. He was 16 and 2 months old.

KC - Born February 22, 2000 and died on April 25, 2016
