\'A Special Beagle\' by KLM Kathel. The original photo was taken in the Fall of 1994. It was taken with an ordinary camera and then saved as a .jpg graphic by Kodak film processing. The image before you was enhanced with Jasc\'s Paint Shop Pro and Corel Essentials.
This may not be an exceptional photograph but what makes this picture special is Barum\'s gazing glance.
I can look at this picture over and over again, and each time I do, I walk away with a different impression. If he were human his gaze could be described as both seductive and penetrating... even mystical.
They say that the eyes are the window of the soul. Well... in Barum\'s case, he had a way of looking directly into your soul and speaking directly to your mind and heart. Barum had a high degree of psychic abilities including the ability to communicate telepathically. He was in fact a very \'special beagle\' and I love him still.

All of the Beagle Art work shown here was created by KLM Kathel a former resident of Brooklyn New York where I received a few art awards during my High School years. (Ah yes, that head shot you see---that was taken a very long time ago). I am not a professional artist, but Beagle Art and painting pictures of our Beagles has become a passion of mine. My in-home studio is nothing more than a foldaway table placed in the corner of our living room and dinning area.
